Lasik
I am finally going to do it. On Friday, November 18, I am having Lasik surgery done. The first thing people say after I tell them is "Are you nervous?". I guess the thought of having a flap cut into your eye and then a laser cutting part of your down may make some people nervous. Not me. I just can't wait to get rid these glasses and never having to poke my eye with contacts anymore. My wife and my mother in law have both had it done and both said it was really easy and relatively painless. Plus, they give you a Valium to calm you down. I've never had a Valium before, so I am kind of excited about that. Anyways, I am just so excited that I can't hardly stand it. Hopefully next time I see any of you, it'll be 20/20 without the hassle of glasses or contacts!

Good luck brother. Hope you like the valium- it doesn't work for me. Guess I have a more difficult time relaxing than most :)
You'll love your new freedom, what a great thing to live in these times where such things are possible!
I did it and now I can see! If you're thinking about doing it, I highly recommend it.
I'm glad it went well NLP!
I am the last person to find out everything!
I am glad that all went well, and that you can see again. It must be nice after all these years.
